Removing Default Page and Demo Applications

We install demo applications into every new account. Some users like to start with a clean slate.

This can safely be done from the shell - or simply open a trouble ticket and we will do it for you.

Due to the advanced nature of the topic we are not going to give exact details. Anyone proficient in the Linux shell will understand what to do based on the instructions below.

  • cd to your home directory
  • remove all files in the httpdocs dir
  • remove all entries from your vhost.conf file - do not delete the file itself, leave it blank.
