The vhost.conf file is a place where you can configure certain aspects of your domain.

Modifying this file may be too advanced for some users. We can make changes for you if you are not comfortable doing so.

Your vhost.conf file is located in the conf directory of your home dir. The file may be edited from the Plesk File Manager or with a shell based editor.

One of the first things you may want to do is enable compression. We would like to do this for all users, but unfortunately it may cause trouble with certain apps. Following this guide will help you decide if compression is right for you.

Another common thing to do is create an alias. All accounts have a few aliases defined already. These are simple to do and easy to understand.  If you need help with an alias, let us know.

If you are not totally confident in modifying the file yourself, please open a trouble ticket and we will assist you.
